You say that there are companies laying off staff, purely on the basis that Obama got four more years. Sounds to me like the problem isnt the man that people voted for, just the most pathetic captains of industry I have ever heard of. Honestly, what a gutless bunch of swine!

The other thing I have to say is this, how can the selection of Obama be causing such positive market feedback globally, while causing your own nations industries to lay off staff!? It looks very much to me as if these firings are politically motivated, rather than financially.

they are politically motivated and were used as scare tactics before the elections.. it's not just small businesses either... it's almost like a backwards bank rush.. with the top companies laying off/ warning of lay offs as opposed to everyone running on the bank ...see if you don't feed us we don't feed you mentality... people need to work together during these times and quit acting like 2 year olds... because if they lay off it will ultimately hurt companies more over as well. No one left to buy services and products.. no companies needed and it doesn't matter whether your considered an individual or not if your belly up.

the US has a very sick mentality right now and i'm not sure anything will cure it.
