I just want to comment on a couple things.

We all see the same problems. It's just that we find ourselves at odds with the solutions.

Many have stated that voting for either is the "lesser of two evils".

How about thinking that voting FOR someone would be the "greater of two goods".

Starting next week?

The run for 2016

If Romney wins there will be no election in 2016.

First he declares war on Iran and starts a world war,

Then he will instate the draft for everybody between 16 and 60 (unless you are a Mormon sent to France to convert the masses).

Then announces Martial law and suspension of elections (unless the seat is held by someone who disagrees with him).

There is no half joking emoticon so please cover the left half of this one with a piece of paper

In battleground states, it's a dead heat:

On the generic congressional ballot, Republicans are tied with Democrats at 46 percent. On this measure, Republicans led the last two weeks after Democrats had an advantage for much of the fall.

An identical number approve the president’s job performance, 49 percent, as disapprove.

It's a tie: 48%-48%.

I don't think we're going to know the results anytime soon.
We've got a few days left of arguing to go

Tomorrow will not be the end . Lawyers in the Sandy area are lining up the paperwork. Florida lawyers and Ohio Lawyers. Lots of money to be made and lots of people to get riled up. Voting is just the beginning.

Don't forget the thousands of disenfranchised military ballots as well.

A group of Republican senators said Monday that thousands of voter ballots are unlikely to reach military service members until after Nov. 6.

One day ahead of the election, Sens. John Cornyn (R-Texas), Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), John McCain (R-Ariz.), Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) sent a letter to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to express their concern over delays in ballots reaching military voters overseas.

“We write to express concerns over another serious failure by the Department of Defense (DoD) to safeguard the voting rights of our overseas military service members, which we believe could result in the imminent disenfranchisement of thousands,” the letter stated.

Mail redirection in the military can take between 14 to 50 days, meaning a ballot could reach the voter possibly more than a month after ballots have to be mailed back in order to be counted. The Military Postal Service Agency (MPSA) identified problems with the system after the 2010 election, but hasn’t implemented changes.

HOW DO POLLS WORK? Sorry for caps but I need an answer.

Today they said it was 49% to 51% for Obama, out of 671 likely voters.

Another poll on CNN said 49% to 49%, tie game, out of 850 likely voters.

Question, so if they polled 671 randomly and 850 randomly how come to odds are so... "even"?

You think it'd be like 90% to 10% in some polls, but you never see that. I'm rather confused.

Thanks.

If romney comes even close to winning then its obvious that the elections are fixed and voting doesnt do anything. with the amount of times romney has ##snip## up and said something stupid on the campaign trail is astounding but everyone just seems to forget about it a week later. its total and utter bs

I wanted to add this to the thread:

Nov. 4: Did Hurricane Sandy Blow Romney Off Course?

Obama has a pretty close lead if you look at the aggregate of the polls instead of individual polls.

Very, very close

Very, very rigged.

These elections are already decided beforehand. This is just a sideshow.

The current administration has been a total disaster from day one. I am counting on America not being stupid enough to want 4 more years of worse.
