Or global warming changing weather patterns. Or normal weather, as people have said in this thread. Or any number of other explanations besides running to the old faithful of HAARP.

There's those words again "Never seen this before." Heard that all last week prior to Sandy hitting and then I heard that the week before Sandy Europe got blasted with some "Never seen before" storm that dumped 3 to 4 feet of snow. I never checked to see if that was true or not, just heard it somewhere. Strange weather indeed

I saw, yesterday, how a arch, rainbow looking, of lightning stretched upwards to the sky in the horison, along with flashes which sine-waved in and out.

27 October Two CME's left the sun, headed directly at Earth. When they hit the Earth they supercharged the atmosphere. NASA expected 1 November all the way thru November to have powerful storms from this charging event.

Add into that, the we've lost over half the Ionosphere and the highly charged particles in the Radiation belts are now closer to the ground....you'll see bigger lightning storms.

Go to the NASA and International Space Weather websites for into on the CME's/weather impact.

Perth had the purple/dark blue/red/pink sky during the beginning of last Thursday I think. Knowing what I was shown I believe Australia is about to get a can of whoop ass. Massive flooding, power will go out to most major cities at some point further down the track snow. But.... who would believe me I am just a crazy guy who gets shown stuff in dreams

Strange.. maybe. Heck why not blame HAARP, its too easy. It couldn't possibly be just weather. hehehe

I have never seen so many people say they have never seen this before. I live in Aus, yes we get some wild unpredictable weather. We always have done and always will. Nothing to see here but nature

Then you havnt been watching closely.
Its just a "deep trough". Sizable, but hardly novel. Only made more impressive in this case because of the tropical cyclone at the northern end that is feeding it. Not exactly the first time thats happened.


Edit - cold fronts move through Australia on a regular basis like this through the summer.
Tropical storms also occur up north during the summer.
Just watch in the future for when they both occur again at the same time. I'll predict at least another one before christmas.

I live in Adelaide near the beach and it was awesome. No HAARP though. Just a strong cold front mixing with the hot air.

I'm sure HAARP is incapable of matching the majesty that is Mother Nature. It might be able to control the direction of Hurricanes but I doubt it can control a cold front that stretches 3500kms.

Yes, this is normal. Our Spring seasons consist of the tail end of winter and the ugly head of summer with no real 'spring' inbetween. Well, in Adelaide anyway (. The hottest day on record, in Adelaide, for yesterday, was actually 41 deg C (105.8 deg F) in 2009. In 1970's they recorded the lowest temp of 4 deg C (39.2 deg F) and everything inbetween. We have Hot mediterranean weather, by definition.

it was an awesome show. reminded me of the regular lightning storms u get up near port augusta.

its not "never seen before" however.

there was a massive bolt that hammered the ground somewhere near the house.. made the walls shake.

had to bring my poor doggy inside. she was going nuts.
