Your Love wrecks my soul leaving a wasteland . of my heart A blackened, seared, smoking hole that threatens to tear my world apart. Your Words Burn trails of pain through my tortured mind. Etching scars of flame across passions once entwined. Shattered are my emotions in the love you left behind. Your Touch Sets my world on fire total destruction are all I find. Hope is lost in my desire, your love has not been kind. Chaos, and confusion does not matter, My life to yours did you bind.

This short story has a feel to it that registers deeply within me. I have felt many of these things and have felt the true sting of love and how it can be a double edged sword. Nicely written; very introspective. S+F
