Now Christie is the type of Republican I would vote for, not the phoney type like Romney that would sell his soul to the devil just to get more power.

I hope to see him running for president in 2016, I would gladly vote for him instead of Hillary.

Has Christie started to put any feelers out into Iowa? Nowadays it's all about getting your ground game in place early - everyone remembers Guiliani's catastrophe in '08.

Honestly he is the more the kind of Republican they need to run. I don't think he is quite ready for a Presidential run, he needs a little bit more time to become a bit moderate in some areas. A type of transition I don't see as being impossible for him, and one that will come with a bit more experience and maturity. I would like to see him get a term two in Jersey and see what corrections he makes in relation to the mistakes he has made this term.

Sadly, given the ideological insanity which seems to have taken over the Republicans at the moment, any moderation will get him slapped with the label of RINO, before he then gets given the Black Spot and is chucked overboard.

...And he thinks that slobbering-kissass ploy will keep his head out of the Guillotine ?

Christie (Christ-double EE) is not as shrewd nor as diabolical as the Øbama machine of tricksters

Absolutely true he is gonna get kicked overboard. The conservative messiah Rush is already pushing for it. Even more sad is that the next cycle will be even more extreme right candidates because Mitt was too moderate.

Yup. If The Romney Unit loses, then I can easily see Santorum as the 2016 candidate. Which would be fatal for the GOP as the man is batpoop crazy.

Considering that it's been almost a week and not much has improved in NYC and NJ ... and considering people in those areas are dumpster diving for food .. and considering everything .. I wonder if Chris Christie is reconsidering his 'instant praise' of Obama.

Side note ... generators for the NYC Marathon??? Is Bloomberg serious?
There are makeshift morgues on Staten Island that could use a generator.
There are gas stations and places with heat and food that could use a generator.

Bloomberg .. you really stepped in it!!

Obama takes full advantage of the crisis to get a photo op with a turn coat republican governor. He then 45 minutes late jets off to Vegas for his campaign events. People are in a bad way and all this fake leader can do is grab a photo op and hit the streets. Obama Hates Americans!!!!!!!!!!!

Erm, what? Sorry, what Vegas event? And turncoat? Do you even know what that means exactly? Christie was attacking Obama last week. This week he complimented him for doing a good job in the aftermath of Sandy. You know - doing what a President should do?

A good job.....LOL ask the people in the area if they think the government has done a good job. This is no different than the response to Katrina. Democrats wanted GW's head on a platter, however they stay quiet when its Obama their almighty liberal

And as far as Crispy Cream goes. I wouldn't say he is a good alternative for the people of NJ. He to..... is a tax and spend so called leader. By having a photo op with the reigning socialist dictator he is sending a message of compliance. He is disloyal to his own party and should just covert to the Demo party and be done with it. Listen I don't care what party you belong to just have the guts to be loyal and dedicated to the cause you speak about. The people of NY and NJ need real leadership not fake actions and using the crises for political gains. Tired of fake leaders and broken promises on both sides........

And Vegas......

Lets not get into the presidents Vegas trip the day after our people were left to die in Libya. Different thread for sure.
