What is your take on Obama's America 2016

I have watched this movie and it is disturbing. But is it true? Fact checkers on both sides have delved into the "evidence" and have drawn conclusions. What are your opinions of this movie and its credibility?

No, the movie is right wing propaganda garbage.

D'Souza then goes through a list of actions Obama has taken as president to support his thesis. Many of them don't hold water:

— D'Souza rightly argues that the national debt has risen to $16 trillion under Obama. But the film makes a passing reference to the growth of debt that occurred under Obama's predecessor, Republican George W. Bush, and does not address the 2008 global financial crisis that provoked a shock to the U.S. economy.

— D'Souza says Obama is "weirdly sympathetic to Muslim jihadists" in Afghanistan and Pakistan. He does not mention that Obama ordered the raid that killed Osama bin Laden and the drone strikes that have killed dozens of other terrorists in the region.

—D'Souza wrongly claims that Obama wants to return control of the Falkland Islands from Britain to Argentina. The U.S. refused in April to endorse a final declaration on Argentina's claim to the islands at the Summit of the Americas, provoking criticism from other Latin American nations.

—D'Souza says Obama has "done nothing" to impede Iran's nuclear ambitions, despite the severe trade and economic sanctions his administration has imposed on that country to halt its suspected nuclear program. Obama opposes a near-term military strike on Iran, either by the U.S. or Israel, although he says the U.S. will never tolerate a nuclear-armed Iran.

— D'Souza says Obama removed a bust of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill from the Oval Office because Churchill represented British colonialism. White House curator William Allman said the bust, which had been on loan, was already scheduled to be returned before Obama took office. Another bust of Churchill is on display in the president's private residence, the White House says.

I knew the movie was not true when in the first few minuets he said Obama was born in Hawaii.

Ok, I'll bite. I couldn't help but notice that even though the narrator spent a lot of time outlining Barack senior's life and supposed belief system that he completely forgot to ask the most glaring question in my own mind. WHO paid for all of Mr. Obama's travel, education, and living expenses? How the hell did a Kenyan villager get into Harvard? Why is being anti-colonial equated with being anti-American, after all that is how we founded this country? I wonder why he'd avoid giving Americans that little tidbit of info, hmmm?

He also praised the hell out of Capitalism throughout the movie, and that appeared to be the central theme to myself, but he didn't try in any capacity to explain why or how it works or deserves praise. He only pointed at a handful of developing nations and said that the capitalist ones were doing better than the others. That is probably true, but how the hell does that relate to us, living in the most developed nation in the world? He totally forgot to mention that those nations that are rapidly developing are doing so because they are working jobs that Americans used to work, but for pennies on the dollar.

I wish I could say that I have enough faith in humanity to know that nobody actually believes this propaganda but unfortunately such is not the case. Does that make Obama the better option of the "two?" Absolutely not! There's hardly a "better option" when referring to Obama and Romney because, as most of us here already know, both men are bought by those with even more power and will do exactly as they're told. But for anyone with a normal functioning brain, this crap doesn't even come close to being considered a joke.

The movie is highly accurate in its details and presents them in a scholarly and organized fashion. The mainstream media is predictably denouncing the movie and questioning its factual accuracy.

Barack Obama's life's work has always been to bring about socialist revolution in the United States. Obama's primary motivational drivers are socialist ideology and racialism. The answer to the question "Who is Barack Obama and what is he up to?" is really quite clear: Barack Hussein Obama is a radical socialist revolutionary, and his mission is to transform the United States of America into a socialist state.
