Hello Fellow Crazies!

I've been fear and loathing around ATS for a while now so I have decided to introduce myself.

I'm a 29 year old unemployed, living in Ammon, ID, with a severe case of a rare disorder called Hypoparathyroidism, subclass Familial Isolated. There are other subclasses. My Dad as well all my brothers have the same disorder with various severity.

I grew up in a the LDS Church, currently defected, and with good reason. I made the best of my childhood, despite having a somewhat broken family with my brothers being engaged in drug dealing and use, and alcohol. I also got sick and injured a lot, and nearly died when I was 8 when my blood and serum calcium levels got dangerously low. I usually got the Stomach Flu and it would last 3 - 7 days. And I still get the Stomach Flu as an adult.

Lets get away from the negative.

I consider myself a spiritualist along a polytheist agnostic view. Politically, I'm a Moderate Progressive, surrounded with hardcore conservatives that watch Fox News religiously, and listen to hate talk radio. Other than that, everything is normal.

I can cook, fix computers (A+) and basic electronics, and anything that has to do with wood. I also like studying history, and learning about Christian Reconstruction and its control over the GOP and churches.

That's about it for now. If you want to learn more, don't be afraid to ask.

sorry to hear of your disorder...however often its the people with adversities in their life that often live fuller lives and have broader horizons of the mind that the people who are fully able bodied but with nothing to struggle against or to think about.
