Don't throw statistics at me to prove otherwise, I know better. We just got better at not getting into the system as often.
I think the "emo" generation has to do with many things. Entitlement mentality, the break up of the nuclear family, fluoridation of the water supply, massive amounts of pharmaceuticals being spewed

How old are you
Things have definitely changed. I'm sure there were always deadbeats, and druggies, but not in the proportions that currently exist.

I think the "emo" generation has to do with many things. Entitlement mentality, the break up of the nuclear family, fluoridation of the water supply, massive amounts of pharmaceuticals being spewed out, microwave radiation out through the roof over the last decade alone, the decline of our standards of living, declining levels of testosterone in men, xenoestrogens, etc, etc...really too many to list.edit on 28-10-2012 by moniesisfun because: (no reason given)

Hmph... my father ran off when I was 6. My mom did drugs and partied every day, dumping me at my grandmother's. I don't know anyone who had parents who weren't negligent. Nobody wants kids, really. Nothing has changed. I don't know where you've been, but it must have been nice.
