Good to know. Let's hope it's not just the proverbial quiet before the storm....
Specially considering the latest news on those strange atmospheric sounds...
Maybe HAARP has been a victim of budget cuts?
Regarding the disparity between the hype and the numbers, don't forget media coverage is often focused on spectacle. In other words, televised
earthquakes tend to be the more dramatic destructive ones. And there's not an exact correlation between frequency, magnitude, and casualties. A
record-low year in frequency, can be a record-high in death toll. Unfortunately the site provided can't answer that question. I'll see if i can find
better data.
As an example, in the link OP provided, there was an 8.2 in Indonesia with 0 casualties and a 5.6 with 81 deaths in China (no info on missing people
or property damages though).
If by chance those fewer earthquakes happen in less prepared or more densily populated areas, there's a higher probability MSM becomes flooded with
earthquake coverage, giving you the appearance they're becoming more frequent instead of just more damaging. Conclusion: Logic problem on the viewer,
not the information.
Both tools of diagnostic on this issue (MSM and official data) can be misleading, depending on the numbers you focus on, or the channels you
watch....
