Hi

This is my first thread so i thought id open up a discussion about Lucid Dreams & Flying Experience.
I can remember the very first time i had a lucid dream & felt like i was able to adjust the speed & direction i was flying at, I knew i was dreaming i knew i was flying i knew i was adjusting speed & altering direction it was fantastic!

A very pleasurable moment of life!

Anyone else have had similar experiences?

Oh yes..

I have done it so much that now my dream mind knows I can fly in every dream not just lucid ones.

It's all about the mind. If you believe it it is..

It's like the Matrix and Neo.

More recently I can only "swim" through the air.. I am a bit out of practice on the whole belief/lucid dreaming thing.

I used to have those kinda dreams a lot Not with age and a lack of sleep over the years , work , kids I don't have dreams to often anymore that I can recall .

The flying dreams where my favorite I still remember the rush I had when I would achieve flight .

I used to have "falling" dreams like many people. I never remembered the endings or would wake up before they ended. These dreams stopped altogether around 2002 after I started skydiving regularly.
Now I fly wing suits and absolutely love it. My dreams now have changed from the falling type to the "flying " type.
Since the first one they have been lucid as you call them. I am in control and can even gain altitude after a head down attitude dive. As well when I am done flying I am able to flare and land. I love these dreams and always wake up happy and fully rested. They have also helped my wing suit flying skills as now I can practice while sleeping!
