UFO reported over Scotland Yesterday?

I knew nothing about this until it was brought to my attention by a friend in Peru who said it was on their news today, and directed me to this article which includes a video and stills:

When I searched for more localised news on this it gave me nothing, first link on Google is the report on China.org, then Yahoo, Huffington and a couple of localised US media outlets. No UK networks reporting this at all which doesn't really surprise me to be honest. Does anyone here know anything more about it or indeed have any thoughts on it? I mean clearly it's swamp gas but I just wondered.
