The Alien who came in from the cold

If a Alien Ufonault had a broken down space ship and went to a human door for assistance, then what things food and materials should we have stored in our house to help them?

This question may be very far left field but reading some of the survival threads on Ats i really have to wonder what assistance i could give to the Alien who came in from the cold

Likely, nothing. If beings have mastered interstellar travel, they probably have mastered the ability to simply inject, or absorb essential nutrients for a diet and do not consume food in the same fashion that us humans do. The common picture of aliens is that they are very small, and very skinny, also requiring them to consume far less to sustain their bodies, for they, presumably, do not have the same muscle mass to sustain.

Until the being is clearly hostile a person should help as they can.We should all do our part for interstellar relations....and friggin each other ,until hostility is detected.

I don't care what planet they are from or what their physical/biological needs are, but who could turn down a hot cup of cocoa? I recommend keeping the ingredients on hand from the below video.
