Can someone fill me in on what exactly happened here and why TC was banned? While his claims were most assuredly dubious and worthy of immense skepticism, I likewise see no compelling proof - at least publicly published in this topic - that he was deliberately hoaxing the site. That's certainly a possibility of course, and has happened myriad times before. As I tried to tell TC in my post earlier herein, the skepticism he was facing was a reflection of that long history of deceit more than anything else.

But why was he actually banned and this topic labeled a definitive hoax? Was there some outside or private information we are not seeing? Did the admins see him posting elsewhere or something demonstrating that he was being intentionally misleading?

Just asking for clarification. My skepticism runs both ways - aka the true definition of the benefit of the doubt - so I do not like to simply accept accusations of hoaxing at face value without evidence.
