A long time lurker finally deciding to jump into the game

I am a student going to school for computer networking. I hope to finish my degree before the apocalypse or whatever but I won't hold my breath. I have a lot of questions and I am confused about a lot of what is going on. I have a very colorful spiritual and otherwise past. I have studied Icke, Jones, Collier, and a myriad of other people. I have no religion but I have a feeling that this is all going to go one way or the other, and for reasons that I will disclose in other threads, it scares the hell out of me. I admit that I am afraid and I will also reveal those fears soon. They say that we should not be afraid but my fears are justified because they are not entirely selfish fears. Anyways that is the best way I can portray my beliefs within an introduction thread. This is not the place to get into what I want to get into. I have to save that for a relevant thread.

Identifying fears can be therapeutic. So, if I may ask what is it exactly that you are afraid of?

An interesting intro with that bit of 'things to expect' mystery to give it some meat !!!

Fear is natural if there's something to genuinely fear but it's not letting it rule that's the hard bit.Where the fears unnatural or completely unfounded that it's a real issue !!

You know what they say,,just cos your paranoid doesnt mean they aint out to get you,haha !!

i dont know why anyone is afraid of the future....I mean whats the worst that could happen? Nuclear war...mutated babies...police states.....concentration camps....re-education camps....gas chainbours....human experiments...cannibalism...and so on
many people have already lived through those senarious already...and died through them...
The worst man could imagine...has already come to pass...and will do again..in fact someone somewhere is living through some unimaginable hell at this very moment, perhaps in the Congo..or middle east... or perhaps a lot closer to home, maybe at the hands of some deranged serial killer.
In otherwords...the nightmares are not in the future...the nightmares are with humanity all the time, it just so happens that they are not your nightmares at the present time..
So forget about worrying about some terrible future....the people who are pulling the strings want you to be afraid...thats the power they have over you...manipulated by your fears...
its not the future...horrible things happen all the time...but when someone makes you believe all the horror is yet to come...and they have the power to stop it...or protect you from it..well...Id call that a protection racket. In other words its the fear mongers who cause the fear, spread it about and capitalize on it...and finally when all the profit is reaped...its the same fear mongers that go ahead and pull the trigger or press the button and start the world war anyway..like a true callous psychopath..having the last laugh. The fear is what they feed off...its what sustains them and its what paralyses the people. so in life...Fear not. Yea though i walk through the valley of death. See Im not religious, but some things in the Bible make perfect sense.

Welcome! We all have fears, and are afraid for different reasons, and at different times, but try not to let it get to you too much. Fear can cause you to not live a full life. Life is wonderful, don't let the bad parts ruin the beautiful scenery around you.
