Really nice work. I've studied lots of Anime style and tried my hand at the technique, but fell short.
I'm a graphic designer by trade and really wish I had more time to devote to illustration. I'm more
the typography sort.

By "attacked by my insecurities," I mean when you're having an off day, when you're thinking of yourself as a failure, or having self esteem problems. Happens to me occasionally, but usually when I feel that way, I find myself drawing.

never think of yourself has a failure (trust me)

last month after an argument with the mother
i told her to go take a bath and relax (she was angry for nothing) the usual ..
then she told me she was going to kill me and cut me into pieces if i told her to take a bath again
and it was only the second time i told her that (she do like taking baths) so wtf
realised that when she was young .. her sisters and her own mother was awfull with her
was also burned in another life and drink quite a lot of wine
i know my mother has some problem and i hate to argue with her
because she always go bersek very fast .. so now i dont argue anymore

i told her i love you to mom !
the only way you can fight any insecurities or bad stuff is being full of love and happyness
even if there is darkness all around you .. always keep the Faith at maximum level
and be THE light in the darkness

think that somewhere in the world right now
there is many people that will find us lucky
we need to be strong for everyone and with our friends and familly
if someone throw you an insult .. be kind and carefull not to enter their game
because there is a reason why some people are like that today
they didnt receive has much love has we did in their past

We cant fight Hate with Hate (fire with fire)
Unconditional Love is the most powerfull energy in the universe
even all hatred in the world cant win against that Love

I actually have stories, the pages are pages of my manga. I'm not finished with the book though. Las Senturas is actually only on its third episode right now, meaning I'm almost done with the first book, Las Senturas Genesis. There's gonna be five Las Senturas books all together.

I'd have to scan all the pages and edit them, and make the text into print rather than hand-written. After that, they may be good enough to get published... I've never really shot for the stars, though. There's so many artists in the world, what are the odds my stuff would actually get out there...?

I usually get angry when I think I'm a failure, and try really hard to do something about it (sometimes too hard).

I have to post the whole story some time.

Lately, I have not been impressed by certain singers. I cannot stand Lady Gaga. As far as I'm concerned she can carry a tune and that's it, unlike Mariah Carey, whose voice is a musical instrument in and of itself. So, why is Lady Gaga successful (or any singer with a plain voice)? Answer, because she tried.

Interesting perspective... I suppose I should try. I never went to school for story writing, drawing, Japanese arts, manga, or anything. I'm just out of high school. Not sure if anyone would want someone with no "official qualifications.." But I will go for it. I don't even care about making money, honestly... I just want an audience.

Hey I like your characters and everything, not to be too critical of your work but I think maybe you should start drawing many other things.... Why I say this is because drawing the same characters over and over again can limit you in your abilities and creativity....

i know whatcha mean. I love my characters very much, just as much as I love people in real life... but I also like to do fan art. That's why I posted Jack, Slendy, Dalek Sec, and ect.

I've drawn quite a lot more than what I posted, but when I posted this, I only had what was on my clipboard with me, and my camera phone.

Good! I'll be honest here. I didn't try. I didn't do anything. I found out too late in life that I had a talent for fiction writing. At the age of fifty I submitted a couple stories to the local college magazine, and they loved them (meaning they published them). I've won a few insignificant contests, and I've gotten A's in everything from English Comp to screenwriting and short story writing. Then my idiot doctor told me I was ready to have a massive stroke at any moment. That was 7 years ago. It took away my desire to write, and now my reward is that I have nothing.

You have a genuine talent. Use it. And I mean use it until you're almost sick of it. Use it until it becomes just as much a part of you as blinking your eyes. Whether online or local, join clubs, take college classes to learn how to build strong plot lines and develop solid personalities for your characters. Submit your work to wherever appropriate.

I'm too old to lie. I wouldn't say any of the above if your work was crap.
