Magnets kill cancer cells in lab

A magnetic method of killing cancer cells has been developed by scientists in South Korea. The technique uses a magnetic field to flip a "self-destruct" switch in tumours. Researchers have demonstrated that the process works in bowel cancer cells and living laboratory fish. Programmed cell death, or apoptosis, is one of the body's ways of getting rid of old, faulty or infected cells. In response to certain signals, the doomed cell shrinks and breaks into fragments. These are then engulfed and consumed by amoeba-like immune cells.

Hopefully, this awful thing will be a thing of the past - We can add this to the CANCER IS DEAD: Cancer cures from A to Z

I propose that there has been a cure all along while donations have been subsided to off shore accounts....I used to have magnet baths one a week after machine shop.

I think what really happens is that these pansy organizations are more than willing to take every penny you have to treat you with a process that actually only prolongs the disease. Yes sometimes it does work, but the natural ways - which are far more better than the one I posted, are never mentioned by the doctor who is paid hundreds of thousands a year to treat you. But, lets remember that the doctor has to go by standards of procedure, so they can't offer anything that isnt in their books, or they will loose their jobs. If you talk, on a personal level with a person who profess in this industry, then you will find that there is dozens of other ways to treat this, which are not costly what so ever.

Another one for the dusty shelves, boy it sure is getting crowdy up there with all these breakthrough from the past half century.

Keep on believing in scientific research from the establishment folks perhaps in the year 2094 this will be used over Chemo and radiation therapy. The time scientific research becomes independent, open sourced and crowd funded then I'll start believing.

This is potentially a great breakthrough though of course the scientist would remind us that what wörks in fish döesnt necessarily extrapolate as far as human biology.

Do you believe the cancer charities are appropriating the publics donations for cynical gain or are they investing a proportion to,at least, make those funds grow.Personally I have no idea either way but it'd be nice to imagine at least a few orginisations out there do what they claim.Ah just a dreamer.lol.

Pharmacutical companies though seem to be self serving to a degree they barely try to hide it anymore.Whether it's through high priced drugs that they jealously guard by patent law right down to selling us snakeoils for toenail fungus ~ is that flaura, fauna or genuine fungi.lol.

Also this almost criminal ease that anti-depressants to anybody they can or branding excited noisey kids with attention disorders. Not saying that it isnt real but it's diagnosed far too widely and easily these days.

It seems brand it a disorder then design a drug to treat the symptoms that wönt cure it.Legal drug addiction for you.

Seems to me truly amazing that mankind survived at all let alone functioned in the pre-glaxosmithcline bad old days.

Does it suggest if you don't set out to hunt down 'conditions' and disorders then human beings can function healthily

Wow what a thread. Thank you for posting the link.

I would have never of known it existed. Massive amount of info to get through.

Just wow, I have often thought the increasing cancer rates might have a link to the diminishing of Earth's Magnetic field over the years.

Tumors, and cancer, are made of electromagnetic force. To kill it, you need to remove that electromagnetic force. Demagnetize.

This article explains the process a little bit better. It isn't the magnet doing the killing. It is just acting on the magnetic nanoparticles.

Cancer cells executed by magnet

In the past, scientists have explored killing cancer using tiny iron-containing nanoparticles that latch onto malignant cells and heat up when exposed to a magnetic field. In the new work, a bit of protein guides each nanoparticle to death receptor 4, an aptly named handle on the outside of a cell that acts as a molecular doomsday switch. Exposing the cells to a magnetic field makes the nanoparticles clump together. This clumping pulls together the three molecular prongs that make up the switch, activating it and triggering a process that leads to the cell’s demise.
