I'm not a regular listener of Rush Limbaugh's but ocasionally I get bored and decide to brave the turbulent waters of his very vivid imagination. I never listen to him very closely, so he may do this on a regular basis. Today he was attempting to impersonate what sounded like a southern gentlman from Lousiana that was eating rotten gumbo evidentally. Does he do this regularly? Is this some kind of a stab at hurricane katrina survivors? He was using this voice to heckle the alledged democratic socialists from the south, as he calls them.

Yea he has his voices. I listen to Limbaugh because a coworker likes to. That man can piss me off in 0-60 with the rhetoric he spews. I'm not for Obama but geez Rush can't go 5 minutes without saying his name. I wouldn't be surprised if someone pays him every time he says "Obama".
He has a big following too and I can't believe how silver tongued he can be and his followers lap it up. Every time I talk with a devout Republican they paraphrase Rush's talking points. How about trying and being original and not duplicating what Rush or his carbon copy Hannity says.
I think the only reason he has Bo Snerdley aka James Golden on his show is so he can combat being called a racist.

"I Rushbo, am an idiot that thinks he's a genius"

Is that what he's trying to do with that voice though? Make fun of Katrina victims for wanting assistance?

His show really needs a guide so those of us that don't listen religiously know what the heck he is trying to say.

I don't know which voice you are talking about because he does a few. What day was this? Maybe there is a podcast or recording.
Remember he is considered an entertainer and not a reporter so he's allowed to embellish without consequence.
