The report says , Syrian rebels have officially taken responsibility for the attack in order to provoke Turkey. The writer points out how the mainstream media can twist the news for their own advantage .

Translation: Yesterday afternoon Syrian rebels fired on a Turkish village close to the border. For weeks Ankara had warned against provoking Turkey. Meanwhile Syrian rebels officially claimed responsibility for the provocation.

Translation: Testimony of a local Turk: “The Syrian rebels try to draw us into their conflict. We have to be very careful here.”

These mortar shells are Russian-made. It seems that they use ammunition that they got by attacks on arms depots of the Syrian Arab Army.

This is a prime example of how the first and probably most authentic and truthful report is turned and twisted by the spin doctors to come to the desired result. In these times of Orwellian double speak we have to give credit to the ZDF that they did not stick with “The Syrians did it” but at least ended with a question mark - in the late evening they leave it open who was responsible.

I'm over the intrigue that all of these different groups are into. Hell, they'll just kill each other off if we leave them to it. So imo, let's just back off and let them lessen their overall numbers

with the reported transit of a shedload of warthogs to the middle east, i'm wondering as to whether they will buzz the turkish/syrian border until potshots are confirmed. if this happens, will they neutralise the origin of attack or target other strategic assets, assuming they are in the region of course.
