What do you plan to buy for the day after Thanksgiving sale?

I'll go first. A flat screen tv. One of those led/lcd models.

Last year some sale prices were honored online. I bought a nice blu ray player and a usb memory stick.

I didn't even have to go to the store to pick it up. They delivered it for free. Worked out well.

I am looking forward to some high def. viewing.

I have heard Diablo 3 is crap. My friend beat it in under a day and there seems to be other complaints.

You did see the part where I said "even If I had money..."

You know what this means don't you? It means I have $1.20 in my bank account.

Besides I have a computer, why would I want a new one? So that Warcraft 3 would load faster? haha.

Not a dog gone thing! I used to battle the maddening crowds before the kids were grown, but I have not done it in years. I usually Christmas shop about one week before Christmas. I like shopping in happy crowds, not crowds that would trample me to death without blinking an eye!

Black Friday...... the day where we trample other people to get stuff we don't need, only a day after we are so thankful for everything we already have.

I will have to wait to see what the sales are this year. Lasy year I got a hand mixer for 2 bucks so that was cool.

Absolutely nothing. People who participate in that crap are rediculous. Materialism is killing mankind. How many people get trampled every year because some a-hole needs his tv so bad. Black Friday is a perfect example of how controlled our scociety is right now. Anyone who spends all night in line or fights over materialistic things is a retard in my book. And people wonder why our world is so messed up.

I have never shopped a "Black Friday" and this year I will not be shopping for Christmas at all. I've said it in the past and then caved in the weeks before Christmas. This year I will make and bake every gift I give. Why? Because I no longer want to be manipulated by the corporations that inflate everything and then mark it down as though it's doing the consumer a favor.
And here's some food for thought. What sort of holiday is this? It's definitely no longer a religious holiday only. It has become consumer fest that dictates corporations bottom line for the year's gains and losses. Is this really something people want to be part of? Not me. But these are just my feelings and beliefs to each their own and happy holidays to all. :-)

Nothing. It used to be shopping, now it's a get mine now, feral flash mob. In some instances, people start fighting out front before the doors even open. There is nothing that warrants risking one's life and limb over, to save a few bucks.

I agree, if you can find it online at a savings, do it that way.

Last year I didn't have to go to the store, the deals at some stores were good online. The crowds are wild, not worth fighting.

Wouldn't mind another computer to just run Linux on. I have a dual boot with Windows, but never seem to get to the Linux Mint part. Computers, esp. used ones are not usually on sale during this period.

Want to see "The Walking Dead" in high def. They go to the prison compound in this next season.
Also wrestling would be cool at 720P.

I don't participate in such capitalistic consumerism tom-foolery so I would not be in the stores on "Black Friday" regardless of the so called "Sales" being offered. Yes, I see great offers being made available but it makes one wonder, ONE day a year companies are happy to take a 200% mark up rather than the normal 400-500% "normally accepted" price because they make up for it in volume. ONE day a year they don't take advantage of the general public and revel in the fact that they are creating an unsafe environment simply to make a buck or 1000. Having stated this I will, for the sake of conversation address the question.

Edit to add as I hit the wrong button: I suppose I would buy shoulder, knee, and elbow pads as well as some type of head gear and mouth guard. Had the question been what would I buy AT the day after Thanksgiving sales I suppose it would depend on what was being offered and where.
