Crooked Police Chief Resigns and Leaves Dog as Only Police Force in Town

State officials said Armijo couldn't carry a gun since acknowledging that he owed tens of thousands of dollars in delinquent child support payments in Texas. Armijo also faces new felony charges after being accused of selling a town-owned rifle and pocketing the cash.

So another crooked cop gets busted and is allowed to resign.....Nothing new here but what is new here.....

According to records, the only qualified member of the Vaughn Police Department is Nikka, a drug-sniffing dog.

Armijo is making the argument that not all police have to carry guns as citing the UK police force, and communication is the strongest weapon...So here we have the police chief selling weapons and being a dead beat dad. While his other officer was convicted of assault and battery last year.

I believe the town is probably a lot safer now that these two guys can not be certified police force.

The town has a deeply routed in DHS, as Vaughn is a town used to smuggle drugs. (The two officers were probably getting paid off by smugglers)

Good cops need to damn well denounce these guys.

Or they are complicit.

damnit, you just get sick of it in religion, and then you are reminded it's on your damn doorstep.

There are plenty of good cops I wish they would start raising their voices.

However corruption is running deeper and deeper into our police system. Honestly would you want to keep a convicted wife beater as a officer on your team? That in itself denounces any sense of integrity your "office" has.
