Why can I not enter RATS?

I am newish (been here a few months) and would like to know why, if I click Really Above Top Secret, it essentially says "Nothing to see here, move along". What is it? Why can't I go there? It has become my new Area 51 or that place up in Utah.

I think you need so many points to enter there, something about flags or points that are given to you in order to enter. I not so long ago realized I got the key!!!

i think you have to have a certain number of posts made on the forums to be able to access RATS. im not entirely sure what the required post count is, but my guess is around 200.

lots of different answers, I think you need 500 posts to enter.

i was always under the impression that a member needs to purchase access to RATS from the ATS Store

i had not heard of a Post/ thread creation/ stars or flags requirement,
but the Post minimum would be natural thing imho,,,just like there's a minimum post number to start a thread or even activate the U2U function... or am i confused

Don't feel bad, look how long I have been in ATS, even I don't got into RATS, I have a glimpse of it once in while, I just get it, no because I want to look into, but nothing to see like it said, regular ATS is where most of the action is, or that is how I feel about it.

No, no, the password is always swordfish.
OT: RATS is pretty boring. Think Skunk Works combined with general social threads. Really not worth the effort to get access to.
