What is your evidence to say these are contrails?

Also it seems a bit strange how that picture seems to make a blanket over the city sky.

Geoengineering beliefs aside for one second ...

How on earth do you believe that you have any idea what altitude these planes are flying at (other than "really high")? Should we have a pilot come here and do a quiz with visual aids to prove that you have no clue how far apart they were?

Pine gap is a few miles from Alice Springs. Less than 20 if I recall
