What were you doing to lower you tuition fees while I was :

Working 40 hours a week, sleeping 3-4 hours each day in order to be at the university every morning in order to block the parking lots and classes from students deciding to not respect the democratic decision to go on strike taken during our general assembly, walking in the streets protesting my anger towards this corrupt system that prones social injustice every single day, under the rain for hours in front of cop stations waiting for my fellow brothers and sisters to be released, getting pepper sprayed, gazed and laughed at by my own Prime minister, beaten up by the ones that are suppose to protect me, getting arrested, handcuffed for 7 hours in a bus before i could even get inside a cell?

Stop blaming Quebec for your high tuition fees and start fighting. You are not paying more taxes than us, you are not more special than us. We are not more special than you, we just unite and fight back.

Instead of blaming equalization, why don't you all regroup and start to demand social justice in your provinces?

Do so, and i will be there fighting with you.

Aww , feels good to let it out.

I would first off like to say that it is awesome that you guys won this battle. It makes me feel like not all is lost.

However i do have one thing to say. I am from Nova scotia and we currently have the highest tax rate in he country and also some of the highest tuition costs in the country.

Just saying

but I hope people will look at quebec as an example of what can be done.

That is exactly my point. Highest tuition fees in Canada yet no one fighting against it. Why?

We have the lowest fees in Canada and fought like it was the end of the world to protect it, how is the rest of Canada not doing anything about it is beyond me.

How would you expect to hit a baseball unless you swing the bat?

It's time for the rest of Canada to follow Quebec's lead and take the bat off their shoulder!

Especially those from Ontario, In the not so distant future we might very well be Canada's biggest equalization payment recipient!

I agree completely. In my Honest opinion we should all recieve free education or at least fairly cheap education. There is no reason that we as a people should be stunted because of either lack of means to go to school or fear of a mountain of debt.

I wish more people would act like you and your fellow activists and bring some change to the world. we need right now. we need all of the educated people we can get in case SHTF

Yes Im with you. I want lower education fees..... but just a minute where is the money coming from?
you can say dont blame quebec for equalization fees. We pay them dont we? so we agree that we should help the have not provinces. So when will the have not provinces acknowledge that they are being supported. When will a have province get the recognition it deserves ( the tax payers, the canadian citizens) from the have nots. Im not saying prostrate yourself and kiss our *****, Im saying, a way to show respect is when you have a opportunity to help the rest of the country why not help by kicking a little more. Great for them they gave the separists an opportunity to make the rest of canada look like the bad guys. When in reality all we wanted is for them to help pay a portion of thier share. So in education pay a little more tuition. You are already the lowest in Canada. Again we are not saying jump to the highest. Just a respectable amount , Im hearing its an investment that we should be happy to spend, you are right, To make our point we are spending more than you. how about your end. Were is your pride and money to improve things.

I have just one problem. Last time I looked, and this isn't going to change any time soon, Quebeckers ARE Canadians. And yes, the more access to higher education can only better OUR country.
