having a 39.99 GO phone purchased from bestbuy with no features, means freedom to me. there is enough "tracking" of my life without adding to it, and paying to have it done. to me, it's a gimic to get people to spend their money.

Actually, the iPhone Cult is something manufactured. There is absolutely nothing special about the iPhone 5, nothing to make everyone piss themselves like over excited dogs.

All the features of the iPhone 5 can be found on the Samsung Galaxy S Plus which is sold for a bit over a year now. And remember this is two versions old, we now have Samsung Galaxy S III which is the equivalent of iPhone 6.5 or 7 when they come out. As we can all see every one is over excited about the iPhone for no apparent reason, and my take is they just use propaganda, law and advertisement to make themselves seem more than they are.

So instead of being part of the "group" who thinks that they are "individuals" who own iPhones, you are part of the "group" who thinks that they are "individuals" for NOT owning iPhones.

It has nothing to do with that. I have an older cell phone and i do not associate or affiliate myself with any group. If you knew anything about me or my previous posts, you would understand that I am extremely introverted and don't care too much for people overall.
