Matthew 28:19 is one word?

Yeah, sure.

That's called redaction, Ace, and it reveals your insincerity.

You follow an arrogant, anti-Christian cult that refutes the word of Christ, in deference to passages that you think support you.

Logically, do you believe that God would allow his message to be "hijacked" by man, condemning thousands of years of mankind to damnation, until some bright boy in the 20th Century would finally figure it out?

Christ died so that the hundred or so followers of Reckart would be saved, and the millions that preceded his wisdom were doomed?

I'm sorry that adjensen has taken your thread so far off topic. When I posted the link, it was to help give info about William Branham. It was not to start a debate on another man or on the Apostles's doctrine.

There is undeniable evidence that William Branham at the very least believed that a Christian can be a Freemason. With that and the fact that he had a Freemason styled grave stone, I would say there was a good chance that he may have been a Freemason.

If you were so "sorry", you probably shouldn't have posted this: www.abovetopsecret.com...

What I posted was a refutation to the credibility of your cult leader, not to bolster Branham's claims, which I had disputed a long time before you posted that. In an honest assessment of Branham, it is disingenuous to post assaults on his views without noting that the person making the claim has their own issues with truthfulness.

Yeah, sure.

You deny the words of Christ?

Repeated accusations without providing evidence makes you a false witness

The Church was never "hijacked". The Church started with the Apostles, has continued up to today, and will continue on.

The number of people in the Church currently living is at least in the thousands.

I do recommend moving your attacks to their own thread so that this thread can get back to being about William Branham.

It's your cult that has cut it to one word (apparently, I'm taking your word for it,) not the original text.

I agree, this is off-topic. I've demonstrated that your leader's attacks on Branham are without merit, though I've also said that I think Branham is not the "last prophet", so I don't know that anything further need be added.

We cut nothing. That is a quote from the Hebrew Book of Matthew.

You should also stop using the word "cult" to label any faith that you disagree with. The word "cult" in the way you use it should be reserved for groups like Jim Jones' church.

Then you should move your attacks to a new thread as I said.

You did not. You ignore the fact that the quote of William Branham was said by William Branham. You also ignore the fact that William Branham has a Freemason style grave stone and that this can be backed up from other sources.

The Hebrew Book of Matthew has a one word verse? Okies.

There's no such thing as the "Hebrew Book of Matthew", by the way. Through I agree that the original version of Matthew was written in Hebrew, there is no current evidence of this.

And you should move your whinging, as well, as I already stated.

You did not.

Actually, what I demonstrated is that your cult leader has his fair share of detractors, as well, so there is no more value in your claims than in any others.

Yes, there is.

Pastor Reckart's detractors do not cause the quotes of William Branham to suddenly not exist.

Again, the Christian Church is not a cult in the way you are using the word. Being a false witness is not among the fruit of the Spirit.

Hey i think your brother has taken the right decision to take up the message of Prophet William branham.See bro.branham was a normal man like you and me but he had a gift of a prophet. The bible says even in from the mothers womb the prophet is still a prophet. So coming to your question you asked whether Bro.Branham has brought somebody back to life. The reply is a big YES.He has done it.Though many has witnessed it with their own eyes.If you want to examine on that just type in the Google for more information. But i wanted to ask you a question in the bible Jesus said a day is coming where they shall not see signs and wonders but also they shall believe me.See you don't see the miracles of the prophets but see through his word what he preaches if it is matching to the word of god. Then its a truth.Signs and miracles are to show that he is a true man sent from god.You want only the bringing of a life back and your behind signs.Don't go behind signs go before the word of god that he preaches. Then you can see the true revelation behind his message.

thanks for your replies ,my mind is still the same, he was not a prophet with the spirit of Elijah unfortunately my brothers mind is still the same , but he has always been gullible ,,

I have been listening to william branham's feast of the trumpets and he just comes across to me as just a preacher and i didn't agree or believe what he was saying ,eg the first trumpet was to call the Jews to some gathering ,and that the locusts in rev 9:3 are souls of devils that are released from the Euphrates,,
edit on 23-9-2012 by seethetruth because: (no reason given)

Maybe you can turn your brother loose on this guy: Formerly 2010rapture.org, he seems batty for the Feast of the Trumpets thing, as well. Did a faceplant failure "rapture is going to happen, 100% guaranteed" in 2010, and he's now claiming it's in 2017 or something.

Genuine false prophet because Jesus himself said he would come like a thief in the night which is a play on the High Priests duties in the temple. When the High Priest would find a fellow priest sleeping on duty, he'd take coals from the fire and throw them on the unawares priest and set him ablaze and burn his clothes off, while the priest was running around looking for water his linens would burn off leaving him a naked mess and shame him...if he survived the burns. So Christ coming upon those like a thief in the night is a bad thing because it means they were sleeping on duty when they should have been watching. This is why we have the immenence doctrine when he can come at anytime.

Christ, Paul and the others did not preach a at any time doctrine of immenence. Jesus told Peter that He would be lead about when He became old so Jesus could not of come back at any moment.

Back then, no he wouldn't have come right away, prophetic requirements had to be met first. Rome was the 6th head of the Beast, 2 more had to arise before he'd return, but they didn't know that. The history of Israel since Egypt is what set the current timeline. They didn't preach imminence, but they did preach to be ready at all times so you wouldn't end up one of the 5 foolish virgins who didn't bring enough oil before the coming of the groom.
