lurker for a while

hi, i have been lurking ATS for a while & finally joined july '12.
reason: i really enjoy the intelligent posts & replies to things that intrigue me. i'm personally fascinated in mostly the alternative and paranormal, but also like hearing everyone else's opinion and facts on current events.
i guess i'm more of a carnivore on these things just because i like to get to the meat on everything & discard the fat as second hand.
just a lil bit about myself:
41 yr resident of this planet with 3 kids, 1 x.
was an ironworker, x-ray tech, biomed repair tech. for my work exp.
went to school for electronics, computer networking, programming c++, html, css, inhouse x-ray ironwork & a few other skills.
anyways, i'm glad to be here & looking foreward to everyone's posts as always.

I am pretty new to this site as well and like you a long time lurker. Honestly it's nice to be able to jump in, debate and put in your 00.2 cents.
