I Just saw a meteor cross the sky!!!!

NEOs 2012 RK15, 2012 SZ2, 2012 SW2 have just been discovered and are to safely pass less than 10LD from Earth. Be ready and get outside as there will be accompanying debris 2-3 days prior and after their passing on 19SEP2012 and 24SEP2012). Get outside and observe if you can. Allsky camera operators be ready for a capture!

Yes I was outside for about 1/2 hour and saw one quick meteor. Just waiting for something bigger! Too cold outside though! Only 5 degrees outside!

If they are like projectiles they are burning in the upper atmosphere,so there is no danger,yet.

This looks like a cloud of meteors but it will stop very soon...for now.

Cant find anything yet but Just to confirm. Last night at around 11PM Amsterdam time I also saw a meteorite with a nice tail following. little slow for a meteorite but much to fast for an aitplane. Seen going from south-east to north-west crossing what looked to be west-germany.

Positive it was a comparable object to the many vids

Local news station here (upstate ny) got a ton of reports of a "fire ball" around 8:30 pm too. Not sure how I missed it I was just getting home from work at the time. But its probably for the best.. I'm sure I would have freaked out anyways.

Just thought I would let you all know my husband saw a meteor on his way to work yesterday morning. We live in Missouri.

when it ignited, we saw a bright flash of light similar to lightning....it sure cought our attention, my kids were inside the house and they thought there was a lightning storm...loll
