I hate to say this as I know nature is able to creat wonders but, there are many many puffer fish and this is the first these circles have been
seen?
"Considering no one had ever encountered anything like it, diver and underwater photographer Yoji Ookata was at a loss to explain what had built the
circular, repeating, and clearly geometric structure."
That is odd, also seeing the fish on it's side in the gully I have to wonder how they get the middle and outer circle so straight just by floundering
around. Could it be that they are using the pits as a convenient nesting site and did not make them. I only wonder as they have not been seen
before,
Also there are a lot of captive puffers i wonder how they nest and mate.
The Puffers dig in the sand to find snails and such to eat, could it be there is just a lot of snails in the grooves and he is digging them along the
already existing lines.
I will be convinced when I see film of a fish creating one of these from scratch.
