Recently they tested the Juno Missile from the Fort Wingate site.
I looked on Google Earth but there is no lauch pads or anything when I search for Fort Wingate.
ETA: I saw the reports about the use of a Juno for a target in testing a Patriot. I never looked into the history of the Juno before, now that I have
it seems odd.

i was camped in the coconino nat. forest near flagstaff.
woke up in the middle of the night, stepped outside the rv to relieve myself and looked up.
the site was spectacular, must have been a bit of the early sun reflecting at that altitude cause' the whole thing was incredibly colorful.
one of those times i wish i had a camera available.
I would say that Google is not showing the launch site. I was curious and took a look. You can see several roads that just go to nothing. Then I
took a look at North Island Naval Air Station in San Diego. You can see two carriers there, but, when you zoom in, they disappear.
It never hurts to include a waypoint when you are referring to Google Earth.

will get you to the weapon storage bunkers. There are a lot of buildings at the facility, but nothing screams launch site to me.
