2 Planes investigated at JFK Airport

An American Airlines flight and a Fin Air jet have been isolated on the tarmac at JFK. Officials said AA 24, a Boeing 767 out of San Francisco, was moved to the isolated area at JFK following a bomb threat that was phoned into the Port Authority.

It will be interesting to see what this is all about, especially considering the current situation in the ME. Both planes were investigated externally, now agents have just pulled up a stair car to board and search the AA Jet ... stay tuned...

According to the ABC 7 News Reporter

The Fin Air Jet was inbound from Helsinki, and the AA Jet inbound from San Fransisco

Port Authority police say that there was an anonymous phone threat indicating there was something on board one or both aircraft

Port Authority Police say Fin Air Plane has been cleared, the AA plane is still under investigation

I wonder... how many bomb threats has there been in the US since this whole video thing has started?

Is this just somebody trying to confuse the authorities or scare the American people? Get people on the edge and just when they least expect it make their fears become reality.

Sounds to me like somebody has all the cards in hand for a well executed attack, whether it be false flag or otherwisr.

It sounds like someone is testing the public response. Look to the MSM to see how they are playing these threats. Also like you stated, they may flood the system with fake threats and mix in actual threats to cause confusion.

.... and both planes were just given the all clear.

Agree though, interesting to see how the MSM, and public responds to these things with all of the tension across the globe.

Glad all on board are safe and get to move to their final destinations or go home to their families.

I think there are probably a few things at play here.

First, lets not forget the habit the MSM has of chasing the same story. So, if they're looking for drama and the timing is right, what would have been nothing more than a tag line across the screen for a few seconds becomes a "live updates" full-on headline story!

If there was no video, no protests and no fear of something, this story probably would have been nothing more than a late night "in other news" mention. But because the media is hyped up and looking for a threat after the video protests they're blowing these things out of all proportion.

Then there's the second part of this that suggests there might very well be some deliberate hoaxing going on because of the video.

So if we imagine that there might usually be three scares like this across the USA in any given week, and they usually make the "in other news" segments, there might now be four a week because of the video, and they'll be front and center because the MSM want to make a big deal out of it and make it all more dramatic than it otherwise would be.

That's just my take on it.

Nothing to see here. FBI finished their search. It was found that there was no credible evidence of a bomb threat. Anonymous caller apparently reported that there were men who stowed away in the wheel area with gas masks and bombs. Nothing found and source was not credible. Most stowaways do not survive in the wheel area due to temperature and lack of oxygen.

... ABC Eyewitness News' Lucy Yang just reported "now we're learning that other airports today recived similar bomb threats, we're trying to figure out just how wide spread this hoax was tonight"... they of course, did not give any further details.

Just had to say if you do some history checking this started happening in august at Airports and some colleges all around the country and yes its something worth keeping an eye on. Once was not alarming but now for the past 6 weeks there have been these bomb scare across the county its very interesting.

It's possible that this is an elaborate chain-hoax. Although in this day and age, one cannot scoff at seemingly trivial threats. What happened to the good old days, If there ever was such a thing?

These bomb threats happen a lot more than people realize. The reason that they are becoming more reported is that they are being videoed a lot more. If you hunt around the news sites, you'll find that there is almost a cycle where this happens every few months. I've even heard of people calling them in because someone was going to be late for their flight.

Dont forget schools also hear about them all the time in texas lol
