"-Bank of America Home Loans has begun reaching out to customers who may be eligible for forgiveness of a portion of the principal balance on their mortgage under terms of a recent settlement among five major banks, 49 state attorneys general and the federal government. "

"So far under this early initiative, about 5,000 trial modification offers have been mailed, providing a potential total of more than $700 million in forgiven principal."

I was reading an article here:
nesaranews.blogspot.com...-form

which talks of people being mailed through FedEx that their mortgages were being paid by a 'Global settlement' which should be a familiar name to everyone who scoffs at the idea of NESARA, and so I googled it and found that article from the bank of america's own website. You can get kind of a summary of it here, again BOA's website:

This is actually to benefit those that have expensive homes it seems as it specified that you home value has to be lower than the mortgage you own.

This happened a lot with the big money mortgages, after the market crash.
