Netanyahu has been eager to eliminate the perceived threat to Israel posed by Iran. Regardless whether you agree with his claims about Iran or not, nobody can dispute that he’s pushing for war. However, the upheaval in the Middle East we’re experiencing today is a direct result of failed leadership in the White House. Obama had a remarkable opportunity to reduce US presence overseas, forge new relations in the region and stabilize old ones. Instead, this arrogant man has only focused on his personal political agenda and he’s created a huge mess for the free world.

Last time Netanyahu visited with Obama he implored the president to be more forceful in his public comments regarding the United States’ devotion to Israel’s safety and its right to exist. Netanyahu warned Obama that his half-hearted gestures of friendship were emboldening radical Muslims and endangering the lives of everyone in that part of the world. Do you want to know what Obama’s response was? According to high level sources within the Israeli government, Obama replied:

“You have just as much blood on your hands as they do. They got a right to exist as well. Everybody does. And I don’t want this thing…this back and forth…you and them…I don’t want this turning into an election issue for me, right? I can’t be telling those people how to treat your country any more than you want me telling you how to treat them, right? You see where I’m at in this?

Don’t you turn this into something that might take away Jewish votes for me. That’s what you got going here – I know what you’re up to. Don’t do it. This thing…Iran…don’t try…don’t hurt me politically with it. You need us. We don’t need you.”
link

Whether you believe this source or not, Obama’s actions tell the same tale. Obama is doing everything he can to appease his base and fake his way into another 4 years rather than leading on this issue and easing tensions. His political inexperience has been on full display since DAY ONE! Obama has continuously snubbed Netanyahu while he should have been reining him in and doing his best to prevent war with Iran. Istead of working toward real democracy Obama facilitated the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and Libya which is now spreading like a hate-filled wildfire across the ME. And what does Obama do as these violent Anti-American protests pop up across the globe?? He apologizes for America again!

We have no leadership in America. This truly is amateur hour in the White House and far worse is yet to come…..

I know my post is going to seem ridiculous. I've been thinking....Why don't we just invite all Israelies to come over here? They have money and businesses. We need money and busineses. There may be some Isaelies who want to leave because of the constant threats from their neighbors and the constant shelling. We could give them their own city. They could call it New Israel or something that wouldn't inflame the Arab population. The Muslim middle eastern countries could finally settle down because they say all they have against us is we support Israel. If most of the Israelies are here they would have no problem with us and the world would be more peaceful (perhaps). Just thinkin....

The issue to that is that one of the components of the claim to Israel is religious. It is the Holy Land, promised to the Jews after years of slavery and persecution in Egypt.

My solution is making Jerusalem the capital city of a UN type body specifically devoted to religious conflict in the Middle East with representation from all Christian, Jewish, and Islamic states with recognition of a common Abrahamic ancestory. Any nation with a signficant population of the above religions would be eligible.

Which might be even more unlikely than your solution, and it sounds a little NWOish as well.

When you think of it, Israel is just a blip on the map. If they come here they could build a thriving city like New York or a Los Angeles. It could be in Nebraska or Wyoming or something.. Maybe somewhere near the middle of the US.. They would need housing and cars. They may jumpstart the economy. Perhaps America is still too prejudgdice against Jewry to consider it. Please consider all the business they would bring. This could be the answers to our prayers, that is, if they would come.

If this administration would stop removing leaders and replacing them with dangerous radicals we wouldn't be in this position. Egypt was peaceful until US installed the Muslim Brotherhood.

Obama's foreign policy, lack of direction, and overall lack of competent leadership is making this bad situation much worse.

You know. The world just isn't the United States.
There are another 195, roughly, countries out there.

I know that the USA is the leader of the free world and all that.
But I'm getting tired of it being the USA all the time to solve the worlds problems.

I'm at the point to say that we should let these guys fight out their problems and we can just quarantine the area to make sure no one goes in or out.
And we'll deal with the survivor.

You're assuming that the President is actually in charge.
I don't think he is.

And where are the leaders of these countries with regard to leadership on this problem? I'll answer that....they're absent just like Obama. The US in particular has a unique relationship with Israel and could have done more.

Me too!!

I am too. It's just sad that US made things worse rather than better. There have been many opportunities to fix this and Obama has failed every step of the way.

While I understand the noble intentions of your solution I don’t think running away from the problem is the answer. Israel is a country….when is the last time the entire population of a country freely walked away from their land?

This is how we got into this mess:

While the Obama administration touted the depositions of Egyptian prime dictator Hosni Mubarak and Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi as victories for democratic reform, peace and social networking, it should be quite obvious that what’s transpired in the middle east under the leadership of our Nobel Peace Prize winning Commander In Chief is yet another chapter in the broader destabilization of the region.

I’m not sure how we get out of this but I know Obama has proven to be incapable of finding the correct solution.

By your logic, we should have invited Kuwait back in the 90's when they were threatened by Saddam Hussein and invaded
Why just stop at that or Israel? Any country that is threatened by someone, we invite them if they have money and businesses?
Common now.

I just wanted to say that if you look at the size of Israel, it isn't very large. If they all came over it probably would make a city as large as New York City. They would need housing and cars and need to buy all kinds of things that would help our economy. They have thriving businesses over there and if they brought them here they could expand and create jobs here and it would help our economy. That's why I said it's a blip on the map. They have a thriving economy over there (I think, I haven't been there) and they could bring good things over here and we wouldn't have to depend on China. There is nowhere for the Israelies to run to as refugees if there is an atomic war. The arabs surround them. Not a great place to be when Iran is threatening them. As you've noticed when there is trouble in the arab lands they seek asylum in Turkey or Jordan and other safe places. Israel has no safe place. Many would probably like to immigrate here if invited. I sure would.

You see what is happening but see it as a consequence of politics, ie, Obama has failed, hasn't had good foreign policy etc.

Now that is essentially true.

The next step you have to take is to see that Obama has done everything he has been told to do. This lack of leadership in the middle east and rise of the muslim brotherhood is intentional to create conflict.

Obama has played his part in the agenda very well. So in the respect of the agenda on taking this world to war, he has not failed, he has succeeded.

I don't like Obama or Romney. I haven't much choice. When I go to the voting box, I'm there to vote for women, so I'll vote for Obama based on his protection of women's rights. I don't like the religious tone of the right. I'm not religious at all. I feel that for Israel to not exist would be better for the world in general. The Arabs use Israel as an excuse for hating the US. Let them have Israel land and let Israelies come here is my opinion (I don't want them to have to die). If that happens we would probably avoid having WW3. Which I see israeli-arab problems are at the heart of (WW3). It's such a smal amount of land to base everything on. It's silly, if you ask me. Israel is constantly shelled by Hamas. Would you like to live that way. We have bent over backwards trying to apease the arabs. What they really want is the US and Israel out of the Middle East. Why not try to do it and do it peacefully (by having the Israelies here)? It might bring the world peace, because as it is, we're heading for extinction (if we don't). Do you want our son's and daughter's fighting the whole Middle East over Israel? They (the Isaelies) can boost our economy over here so we're not at the mercy of China. Wouldn't you like to pay off our debt and have our soldiers out of the middle east? Sometimes I think we are over there to insure we'll be there when war comes to Israel. Everyone can see it coming no matter how they try to hide it by giving empty platitudes as to why we are there. We are there for Israel, so we can speed to their aid by invading Iran and having WW3.

seabag, don' t you see the bigger picture?
This falls right into the hands of Obama,s agenda. To remove the United States as the most powerful nation in the world.. He wants this country to fall in order to level the playing field.

His entire goal is about Anti Colonialism, and how he took this goal on upon his father's death. His father hated Colonialism and what he saw it do to his country. He instilled his vegenance in his son, Barack This is why Obama's autobiography is titled, "Dreams From My Father". Notice the title is not Dreams OF My Father. Meaning Barack Obama has taken on his father's dream as his own.

To stop Colonialism at all cost. Obama is on the right path, to make sure the USA falls..

A big round of applause for Obama if he really said those words to nut'nyahoo...Maybe he is starting to make a wave towards obtaining some very deserved, delayed independence from Israel...I am sure that sentiment alone makes a lot of people to vote for him again...I can not understand some of you Americans though, for not supporting any act that might eventually get you closer to an independence from Israel!..it always cracks me up,i am sorry....I know you guys like your entertainment and movies and Steven Speilberg and stuff, but seriously it is not becoming of America to be a slave or puppet of any nation in the world, and for what? what do you gain in return?..Things that make you say wow!.....some of you posters scare the hell out of me ,specially you seabag.

Oh fer cryin' out loud......... now the criticism is that America hasn't been policing and bullying the rest of the world enough?? Obama actually dared to say, "Your business is yours, I got a nation to tend to here." ?
You know what? I admire anyone who is willing to step into this role at such times, when you cannot win no matter what you do!

Watching the US be Israels beatch was getting a bit old anyway, IMO.
