Well if betting is ok, I accept your challenge.
Once I win you will be wearing a pink slip correct?

If I lose, please send me the one out of your closet.

Honestly, back up your baseless claims. You accused me of bashing two religions, even though I have never done so. The offer stands, but do you even know what playing for pink slips means?

I hereby politely challenge you to finding one instance where I bash Christianity or Judaism.

Put up or shut up shun.

Mein Kampf was written during a period of eastern philosophy influencing popular culture of the west and was most likely lifted directly from the Koran and perverted to Hilters own ideology.

The Koran came along after the fall of the roman empire and the spread of both Judaism and Christianity. Each had heavy influence on each other as they were all spread by the sword and forced change upon the religious identity of the the people who lived within these regions over generations.

People of faith rarely consider the spread of religion and how each preceding religion influenced the next, documenting the parallels between opposing faiths, the perception of a people in that region and its rules for conduct during that period.

Please correct me if I\'m mistaken or missed something.

It seems that my original intentions of this thread have been hijacked. There's a few things I would like to point out:

This is not an anti-Muslim thread. I have no problem with Muslim culture. I do in fact have a problem with the mass ignorance in Radical Islam. Looking into The Koran to find sources of this radicalism is justified. The Koran itself may be found to be a non-violent book, but there is no denying that radicals misinterpret the verses.

Just because a religious text is being discussed does not mean it is being "anti-Muslim" seriously people, suck it up.

No, I am not discussing The Bible because this thread is about two books, not three or four. I will not deny that The Bible has a treasure trove of questionable scriptures as does The Koran, but my interests do not lay in the Bible or "radical Christians" my interests lie elsewhere...is that a crime? Does that mean i'm being biased? Absolutely not.

And no, I am NOT and I repeat AM NOT saying The Koran is like Mein Kampf. What I am saying is that someone has made that accusation, and I think it would be interesting to see why Geert Wilders would say something like that.

I'm under the assumption that a good majority of you did not read all of my posts, because if you did you would understand that I offer defensive positions of all of the verses mentioned from Muslim apologists. And to be honest with you, I side with the Muslim Apologists on a lot of the verses mentioned.

I am not here to make a statement, I am here to learn. So please people, leave the mud-slinging and accusations at the door. This is supposed to be an intelligent discussion. I don't have any problems with any of the religions mentioned, just the radical portions, and I don't see a problem with that.

ATS does not like Hitler and he is not to be discussed.

And if you are going to make claims about Mein Kampf then you should post quotes from the book instead of your interpretation.

I hate to be the kind of person who points out something like this and uses it as an arguing point, but I feel like in this situation it is justified. It appears that you just registered for this website a month ago, I don't think it's your place to speak for the ATS community as a whole. Hitler and his ideas are discussed freely here often, and I am in no way endorsing his writings and concepts or those of The Koran for that matter.

Besides, interpretation of quotes from Mein Kampf aren't really interpretations, the ideas presented in the book are self-explanatory.

One of the first threads that I looked at was a thread about Hitler. It was closed and the mod said. " We dont like Hitler at ATS. Not even a little bit. Thread closed."

There is also a warning thread made by Springer warning members not to use ATS to dicuss Hitler.

Maybe its only bad if it involves empirical history.

And again, where are your quotes? Just because you say something doesnt make it correct.

I don't know what you are trying to get at, but the reasons those threads get closed is because of the way the community reacts when Hitler is brought up. It is entirely normal to have a thread discussing Hitler, but the ways threads get tangled and off-topic is the reason they are closed.

Did I say everything I said was correct? Why don't you read quotes from Mein Kampf and draw your own conclusions, it's called personal interpretation. I'm not telling you to believe me, i'm just saying what the verses mean to me. If you disagree, contribute and tell me why. If you want to go read something that doesn't encourage forming your own opinion then go to another thread.

If you're going to complain why don't you do it to the admins, because complaining in a thread does nothing. If the thread isn't fit to be discussed, the admin will close it regardless of your griping.

Can you post which passage talks about homosexuals? I read mein kampf and didn't remember anything about homosexuals.

Remember the 'koran passage 9:11 which states the son of arabia would awaken the sleeping eagle?' Completely fake passage. I'm not saying there is no similarity to islam and mk, just saying I know of no homosexual passage in mein kampf.

Sorry if I was unclear in my original post. That statement about homosexuals was copied from an article that was telling SUPPOSED similarities, I'm not saying they are true at all. Under the statement copied from the article in parentheses I clarified that Mein Kampf does not have ANYTHING negative to say about homosexuals, so in effect the article was incorrect in its assumption. So basically yeah, you're right.

Sorry for the triple post everybody, not trying to bump my own thread at all. Just trying to answer all the questions I can.
