Hey ATS!!! I'm officially joining the family!

Hey Everyone!

I stumbled upon ATS about 4 years ago and have been addicted ever since! I was blown away to find a website in which members openly discussed a combination of "fringe" topics, cutting edge science, and breaking news from around the world. The variety of information that can be found on this site is astonishing! To understand my excitement, I guess I should give you a little background about myself. Ever since I can remember, I have been questioning mine and your existence. So, I began my decent into the "rabbit hole" at a very young age. It began the night I became aware of death. I remember closing my eyes, preparing to fall asleep, and I thought to myself, "This must be what death feels like, nothingness." As soon as the thought was finished, I was terrified. Thus began my hunger to know the unknown. Why are we here? What's the next step? What's the point? I do not want to give a lot of details about my journey so far, I'm saving the good stuff for my first couple of posts ! What I will say is that I no longer believe in nothingness after death. Also, I am fully convinced that there is a lot more to our existence than this short lifetime on earth. I can't wait to share my experiences with ATS and be a contributor to threads, rather than a silly lurker This is long over due!

welcome, the only thing i would suggest, which may not need saying since you browsed the site for years, don't post anything as truth unless you have a link to back it up, I constantly find myself looking for info before i open my mouth.

Haha, oh yes, I know about the hard core skeptics on ATS! (Another reason I love this site) No pic, no proof! Unfortunately, some experiences cannot be proven, only retold. When I do post some of my experiences, it will be to find others who may have had a similar experience. When you know something to be true, the naysayers don't effect you!
