Think about how small a derringer is, for example, and combine that with the cheap rc copters you can get nowadays. An assassin drone as big as a small bird, a dragonfly, a swarm of wasps.
One shot is all a robo-assassin should need.

I wasn't thinking of taking on a tank. I was thinking of politicians, dissidents, and world leaders at rallies or other public events. I was picturing a sniper drone the size of a small bird winging over that crowd as it lines up its shot and assassinates the target before simply winging away (or if 'bug' simply falling dead to the ground to be trampled).

You don't need to win a war with a tank when a single bullet will do.
