RIDLEY PARK, Pa. -

Part of a Boeing plant in suburban Philadelphia has been evacuated and police are investigating after officials say they received a threat related to the facility.

Not sure if this is anything of importance at this point, but just saw this on the local news.

I did a search on ATS and didn't see any other threads on this.

The facility is part of Boeing's Defense, Space and Security unit and produces aircraft including the H-47 Chinook helicopter and the V-22 Osprey.

Ridley Township police are responding and say it related to some sort of note left in a bathroom.

Shall we wager on "Disgruntled Employee" as the perpetrator?

Most likely, but it isn't getting much coverage from what I see due to the 9/11 Memorials today. How convenient?

Unless, this is the date it was planned so it goes under the radar of the major news outlets. You'd figure a disgruntled employee would pick a different day with all the focus on NYC, WDC and Schwenksville today.

Anything to do with flight, the FAA will be all over it.

Hopefully nothing was tampered with during the evac...

God forbid this was a distraction for something larger.

No big deal. PART of the plant 'went outside' for a while.
Most did not. Everyone is back at their desks. This happened a few hours ago.
