Privately Owned UN regulated cities in the news

I don't usually write in the conspiracy forums; but, found this interesting. Honduras, the Central American Country, has announced that they are going to build three cities that will be privately owned and also be free trade cities. The cities will not be under Honduran laws; but, will make their own laws. Here is where it gets interesting; however, the cities will be required to follow; however, "they would have to adhere to international conventions on human rights and other basic principles.". No national laws, only local and international laws. I find that interesting.

Some people are comparing these cities to Dubai and I understand why. A company based in Dubai, such as Halliburton, does not have to publish who owns the company. It is a wonderful place to hide money from drug and other illegal operations. Imagine what the cities in Honduras will be like.

Just imagine drug kingpins buying their own city and legalizing all forms of drugs. What if the city was to allow death sports or organ trafficking? You can go on and on with all the possibilities. In the end, the people that buy these cities will be doing it so that they can do things they could not anywhere else.

Welcome to the future, imo. I think this will become more and more prevalent as time goes on.

This will be the Ultimate Goal for multinational companies. I wonder though, what will Honduras get out of the deal and who will provide defense to the city. Getting a Police force together is easy. Hire some mercenaries. Defending against another country's military is a different ball game.

The big question is who is getting paid to facilitate this. Someone has a fat paycheck coming.

What does Honduras get out of this, tons of revenue from shipping, infrastructure, people spending money on food, resources and labor that will spend their money in the rest of the country. Dubai has done quite well and did not make it's money from oil, it made it from giving companies certain rights. Henderson, Nevada is just outside of Las Vegas, it really grew up when the damn was being built, it was for the families of the construction workers and it doesn't allow prostitution (legal in Nevada) or gambling. I would anticipate that many of the workers would live outside of these cities.

Your right of course. Thanks. Corporate cities is an end game for humanity. It is the place where anything will go. All of our worst nightmares will come to fruition. Human clone and genetic research for the soldier of the future. Organ banks. Everything imaginable that is thus far controlled by governments (or supposed to be).

So does this mean we could theoretically use this precedent and create our own Utopian based cities ??

who wants to invest in Rob Island. It will be the greatest place to live , free renewable energy , vertical farming etc etc

It only makes a precedent in Honduras and means that if you have enough money, you can write the laws so long as you conform to international law.

The Corporation will own the Judges, The Police and the Prosecution. They will probably own the Defense lawyer as well. So who is going to be looking over their shoulder to ensure compliance with UN laws. Which UN laws will be enforced!

Don't look too deep, you may see the truth emerge in all of it's dark evil reality.

For accepting international law, they will fall under international courts. The article mentions that the cities will be free to make treaties and determine for themselves who can live there. It is not the elimination of laws, it is the internationalization of law. International for the most important things and local for the less meaningful.

I understand this is what they are telling you will happen. I can also tell you that a Corporate owned city will NOT work like a Utopia, it will be a cesspool of corruption.
