Has anyone else noticed that John Kerry's wife, Teresa, seems to be rather distant and awkward looking on TV clips. My thoughts from the beginning of her appearances were that she must be on some kind of medication. It seems that I am not alone in my observations as one of the following links supports. I've not listed all of the the links that I have visited, but several are thematically represented by the second link. We are looking at a new "power behind the throne" that does not support beliefs of most Americans.

I like the question aout the woman in there life. The only thing that Kerry said, or refered to: Is I got payed ;Grin;

When the debate was over, She was looking at the First Lady kind of wierd to. Some medications do make your eye's look ah, not right.

Theresa's kind of a nut nut. I like Laura Bush. Too bad the First Ladies don't run things, I wouldn't have to support Kerry.

leave his wife alone. She hasn't done anything wrong or caused anyone harm, lets focus on the candidates policies and not how their spouses might not "conform" to your expectations

THK is relevant in any discussion. First Ladies exert HUGE influence on the President. Hillary Clinton was by far the best example of it. But nancy Reagan also comes to mind, but Hillary directly influenced policy and programs. So, one has to look at the whole package. Speaking as a married man, my wife and I are like a team and influence and place value on each others opinion. I would not expect married presidents to be any different.

H. Clinton

Now I see why you did'nt return my PM. And dinged me for 20 points. H. Clinton is as fake as they come. Just a stuck up lib, who thinks government can fix everything for the little people

Just say no to drugs

Aren't you guys taking your assumptions based on what you saw in those short clips just a little bit too far?

And as to the value of teamwork between a husband and a wife; being a husband myself, I absolutely agree in this. However if I had to make a choise, I'd be far more concerned about an incoherent president than an incoherent first lady. IMO.

EDIT to add this nice little quote:

This comment is just too funny in light of what is known about the backround of the current president.

the bold text sentence (above) is the only thing I can respond to...

Teresa would, could have been one of my friends, IF she & I had occassion to meet. That 'quirkyness' is charming,,,the MEDs characterization is a smear & speculation...

ok, i am a big fan of THK and of Hillary Clinton. I'll admit it. I find them extremely intelligent and strong women who I agree with on many issues. Nancy Reagan was the most powerful first lady in recent American history. Period.
