Seeing people work together as a community, every body sharing, not paying for anything, and every one excepting every one for who they are and what they want to do. Its an amazing experience and I suggest any one who hasn't gone to a Burner event go to one. I will be going to as many regional events as possible and am looking forward to being on the playa next year. )'(

Wow it's amazing, the so calledd enlightened have no problem believing that burning a huge "figure" is "cool", yet they deny and mock the possibility of the god of love.
These people are looking for a purpose. It's the exact same thing with club kids.
A piece of them has died and they're trying to revive it.
I bet alot of these people claim they're atheists or non religious
Darkness is the absence of light. You will not deny basic physics now, will you?edit on 3-9-2012 by HamrHeed because: (no reason given)

What are you talking about? the burning of the man isn't just so people can see something "cool" its symbolic and means different things to different people. I wrote the names of all the people was going to not associate my self with and haven't sense they re names went up in flames. and whos mocking the possibility of a god of love? These people are actually living life the way they want to and not sticking to the ideological norm every one els does. and there's a difference between following a religion and being a spiritual person. Dont think negatively about people because you don't understand them or disagree with the way they live their life. If you went there no one would criticize you for your beliefs and they just want the same in return.

Communism is a noble concept on paper, but doesn't work simply because we're designed to EVOLVE. There will always be competition and rightfully so. The capitalist spirit has given us many products that make life easier.

Burning man events prove this statement wrong. But I never said that the govs of the world should be Communist. Burning man is for fun and I actually don't believe that type of society will work on a global scale, but thats what makes Burning Man events so special.

I have personally attended Burning Man TWICE as an RV mechanic. While the art there is, in fact, breath taking, the people are not. It was one of the most disgusting places I've ever been.
The Black Rock desert is completely destroyed for at least 6 weeks out of the year with trash, hazardous human waste as well as chemical contamination. It takes the BLM at LEAST that long to clean the site up after each Burn.
The people who roll through Reno bring their drugs, criminal activity, and filth to downtown. This is something Reno residents experience EVERY year. It's not just one guy, it's thousands.edit on 2-9-2012 by projectvxn because: (no reason given)
