I wish google forums would be readily available when using google earth. I also wish they would placemark these things so people casually browsing can
see at a glance what they are looking at, when it comes to pivot irrigation. Old as the hills since GE came about, all over the keyhole forums when
they were around/active/popular/findable..
I got a tour of one of the "crop circles". The irrigation has a bit of fertilizer in it and bacteria. I don't recall why they add the bacteria.
Cutting the alfalfa is done at stupid O clock to achieve some sort of water content. The base knows this due to employees living in town, so I'm sure
they don't fly the saucers during harvest time. ;-)
