I did a brief search but couldn't find this one posted on ATS.

There are hardly any words to describe the view in this video.

It's a timelapse of earth as seen from the ISS. Every human being should see just how tiny and meaningless we are .. this tiny blue sphere floating through an infinite space, only protected by an atmosphere as thin as an egg shell. Especially the thunderstorms and the setting sun flashing out from behind the curvature of the earth .. just wow. The perspective of gods - unthinkable for any human being only 100 years back.

So here you go, hope you enjoy this jewel as much as I did. Don't forget to switch to 1080p Full HD and fullscreen and turn up your speakers a bit

If we are so tiny and meaningless then why is the whole Earth lit up like a roman candle at night? It looks lovely and I thank you for the video but I wish the issue of light pollution was taken seriously.

"Until just 30 years ago, the Milky Way was visible from Seattle. Only in this very last generation of human history has that profound view been lost. Today, fully 70% of the world’s population has lost contact with the night sky that had inspired awe in humans for millennial."
