How fortuitous , Just two weeks ago the Granddaughter of a Brother who passed away several years ago gave us all of her Grandfathers Masonic memorabilia . He became a Mason in the early 1930s' . What she gave us was rituals , his Scottish Rite Patent , and a few other things .

BUT more importantly was a leather pouch close to the same size as in the OP that held his very ornate Master Mason certificate . We were surprised at how large the certificate was when we unfolded it . From what she told us , he explained to her that it was used when traveling to prove he was a Master Mason .

You have pockets in the back of your aprons State-Side? Wow; I would love to lay my hands on one of those.

Some have a pocket . One of my Past Master aprons has a pocket for my gloves and it came from England .

Thanks for that. I will visit thefreemason.co.uk and see what I can find.

Certainly, none of our Lodge members have these aprons, and mosy of them are English.

You learn something every day.

The pouch was 20.00$ Can. so it was fairly cheap. but for me it's priceless.

No wonder our plans for world-domination have failed; we lost our pouch . . . for goodness sake
