"The Gut" posted a time lapse video above of an intricate crop circle being completed in 5 hours......so it can be done.

Absolutely. I'm sure it can. There are many theories. We'll probably never know the complete truth on this one. And everybody has a different viewpoint. I like to keep an open mind. As mentioned previously, I was advised it is very difficult to bend the node of the stalk if you are just trampling the crop. In this formation, many stalks were bent at the node. But this is what I was told - I am no authority on this. Just a curiosity seeker with a video camera.

Also, there is much scientific evidence pointing to structural and cellular changes to the crop in certain circles to suggest superheat or some form of radioactive force having been applied with blast points where the heat has blasted internal water out of cell walls of the flattened crop.

I like you lights. You seem a really decent guy, so please don't take my input wrong. The circles fascinated me at first, too.

But after looking at all the evidence, my personal opinion is that they are manmade. That's not to say there's positively no anomalous side. The circle makers claim that it's a pretty weird lifestyle.

If it's not a total hoax, then it's certainly more related to the paranormal occult than extraterrestrials per se. The symbology and the spiritual practices/philosophies of the folk involved attest to that observation.

NOW: Do the circles appear less in winter, btw?

Even if these are Chinese Lanterns in the video I honestly cannot stand when people say they are.

It's just getting so cheesy, so predictable:

"Yeah, man. I'm absolutely positive these are Chinese Lanterns."

I wish we could think of a new "go-to" answer to ascribe to sightings----either real or not.

So you want people not to say it Chinese lanterns even when they are? You want us to make stuff up because you just dont want to hear it?

For future reference, that site is totally bogus, there is nothing in or around Swindon remotely looking like that and certainly nothing that could take a 747 The two nearest airports to Swindon are Bristol and Southampton. There are a number of very small, ie grass field, aerodromes in the Wiltshire area. There use to be several RAF bases dotted around the vicinity however, with cutbacks, virtually all of those have closed down operationally. All that is left now, as far as I know, is a station or two, that look after a few military helicopters.

Yes you right , it seems that google lied! FlightStats.com is a real service though.

I got someone else to have a look around for me after i went to sleep and they tell me there is a something in Swindon that can accommodate small planes like you said but nothing with an FAA designation that could take a 747 like that site is showing. Bristol airport is about 40 miles away.

I still stand by my original suggestion that the 2 lights were Chinese lanterns.
