After reading this article, my first thought was "Witch Hunt"..

Turning a phone in for repairs and having said "child porn video's" on it seems a bit asinine. Hoffner states the images or video's are of his own children in what he states are "private family moments". Will definitely be interesting to see how this plays out.

Brings to mind a movie I saw many years ago about a women going to prison over having home videos on her phone, of her children dancing at home naked. The video fell into the wrong hands and she was eventually incarcerated for "child porn".

So yes, "Witch Hunt" comes to mind. Your thoughts?

I guess the question that comes to mind is why take them in the first place? My wife and I raised four kids and never once did we think about getting pictures of them in the bathtub or at any other time for that matter. Kind of always thought that was their private time. That being said im sure it wouldn't be too hard for the authorities to tell the difference between innocent bathtub pictures and child porn. But In this day and age of things like child porn unfortunately taking place why even take them? But to keep them on your phone is just stupid. Bad time to be a football coach and have stuff like that on your phone. Protect the kids first.

Do you have child porn on your cell phone?

It's odd that the roll of predator here is shifting from the child pornographer to the cell phone repairman ....

Looking through someone's phone is nowhere near as despicable an act as child pornography...

agree?

So if i were to glance into someone's medicine cabinet, and find a severed hand, would i be the monster for looking through a medicine cabinet?

You're living life by prison rules ... where the 'snitch' is the lowest life form in a room full of rapists ... Where 'minding your own business' is law ....

Minding your own business is a coward's life ...

sheesh ...

You may be thinking about the movie called "snap decision", but the pictures were taken with a camera, not a phone, and the movie was based on a true story which you can read here:

Some people have this strange idea that they should be able to take innocent pictures of their own kids without getting in trouble for it. What the heck is wrong with those people? That's your point?

If you were to find a severed hand in someone's medicine cabinet, it wouldn't make them less horrible for having such an item.

But finding that item there doesn't exonerate you from your despicable act, either. To believe it even matters is an "ends justify the means" mindset, which should be a litmus test to indicate faulty logic.

I would say in the above instance, neither of you would ever receive an invitation to my house.

If this guy has real child porn, he should have his balls fried off.

But if it is what he says, the police should be pursued for malicious prosecution. And the media should be pursued for slander.

Just having the accusation will ruin your life. Everyone see's the headline, no one sees the retraction.
