'plain common sense' disenfranchises 10% of the voting electorate. Weather you like it or not, every American should have the right to walk into
their voting booth and cast a vote. Anything beyond that gets in the way of their right to participate in their government.
"common sense" would be to leave it the way it is. Since there is more incidences of people winning the lotto twice, than there are of valid voter
fraud.
When you have less than 2% of the population voting, what makes you think there needs to be any sort of law making voting more challenging? If
anything, that shows you how few Americans are willing or able to participate in their government
