There is a rumor going around that the military is creating a DNA/Molecular Computer. Does anyone know anything about this?

Its a very intresting article on molecular computing by the University of Tokyo. It seems that molecular computing will mainly be used on nano tech. After reading the article I couldnt help but to think of the similarities between this and your brain synaps system.

these computers are still very slow and can only perform basic functions
I recall reading a story on this 6 months back or so they have made them at several universities round the world but they all basically just perform basic calculation addition subtraction and so. nothing complex.

It make you wonder if you have a BIO- computer will flu season bring a whole new meaning to virus protection for computers
