I used to think that too.
But then it hit me, they, being the bankers etc, already have All the money.
This isn't about money. They could care less about money, hence the reason for a fiat currency.

It's about power. It's about controlling the world. It's about being able to tell people what to do and when to do it.
So, what to do if you have all the power in the world because everyone owes you?
You have the ability to say who lives and who dies and who is a slave and who is not.

This is what man has done for centuries.

Money was just a way to get to the real goal: power over others.

Of course they are preparing! How many top bankers have been arrested? Put in jail, verses those still doing their criminal activity?
That alone tells you the system is going down. Main thing is put your land in property, as although it will fall in value, at least you get a rental income. There is no harm in borrowing money either providing it is on a fixed mortgage. With money so cheap, you would be a fool to rely on rent, when there is every possibility of circumstances changing quickly. But with 2 years fixed rate, you always have time to prepare –sell at a half decent price, rather than be mugged at auction.

Don’t put all your eggs with metals either…
Gold is risky compared with silver because with gold the central banks could be forced to sell it, and flood the markets –after all, it’s for emergencies like these it is there for.
As for a gold standard: In all probability a future standard would be based on more than one commodity & metal.
But with silver the stockpiles are relatively small. The downside with silver is a huge amount of the stuff people think they buy in bank vaults, through the internet, does not exist and has been fraudulently created by the likes of Goldman Sacks. The bad thing is, is that if the fraudsters can create metal once out of fin air, then they can & will do it again. They have actually done this to the point of deflating the silver price, but then again I bet the same happens with gold too!

Everyone will own what they sit on. All debt will be wiped,

The alternative will indeed be endless war.

A long story short....

1995 I brought copper thermal paste for CPUs to the retail market as a "hobby" for Overclocking computers, water cooling and CPU shims for system builders.
2001 I had several employees and health care with sales exceeding over $500,000 a year.
Same year the markets take a hit with dot come bubble, 911, more market troubles and housing bubble well on the way. The writing was on the wall and I shut it all down and started a ten year plan to own a spot on earth when this all goes up in flames.

I decided to go work for someone else (previous employer) again and get my house in order. I warned my new bosses what was coming and they diversified as best they could. I have my spot. Everything is devalued and money is cheap to barrow. Seriously, it has taken longer than it should have to get to this point. This was all a controlled collapse (so were the towers talk about symbolism) and we ain't at the bottom yet.

You better get yours!

DUE Diligence....and check your 6

I believe that they ARE planning for a financial meltdown. And unfortunately, it may have to do with the 2012 end of the world. Think about it, the money has to g somewhere right? SOMEONE has the money. Are they (TPTB) hoarding the money becuz they know that something bad is coming? And when they come out of their underground shelters, they have a foundation to start with? And a new all world govt.

Just my 2 cents here. Im in no way any expert. Just my thoughts....

When people are starving the streets it will not be of any use. That's why food and goods will be of value if it all comes crashing down. As to an earlier post that refers to the $90 Trillion derivatives. I asked the same question to a person who was in money management some years ago, they turned and ignored me. The conversation was apparently over for him

With 50 quatrillion+ floating around in the world markets I can only assume they will use this to collapse all the currencies of the world and introduce a new one. They will also probably use this as an opportunity to lower the world population with the lack of food and water. Anyone who is well prepared will be meet with military action and forced to join the others on the streets or on the run. It will truely be survival of the fitest. Everyone should be training everday with exercise and weight training so that your body is strong and able to survive the days, weeks and months and possibly years of limited food and drinkable water. Once the dust settles and the body count is high enough to start anew, the goal of a one world government will be complete. Are you ready to join the ranks and be a foot solider for the NWO under the promise of food, water and security? I'm sure many of you will.

The 'solution' is peace. I do not like making suggestions but in this possible scenario, I believe peace would be the best way. Even just attempting would be helpful. Drop your weapons and open your (human) arms; prove you can live in harmony without corrupt government.

This seems like the only reasonable thing to do. Everything is in such a state of disrepair that the only option is to burn it all down and start over.

yea but more likely, with many many people loosing their income they would be revolting/protests/looting.

Just look at the London riots not that long ago. Human's bad nature expels in dire situations, now even more since they own allot these days! (cars, property's you name it).
So more change on a ''big fire'' then hippies reappering.

Talking about hippies, they werent that stupid when you think about this possible collapse coming.

I can imagine the most pissed off will be the 1% everyone talks about. They will lose much more in terms of actual wealth than someone who is poor already.

Then the .01% will be supreme and we will be the 99.99% who are screwed.

screwed, well, we will live in eco prisons or FEMA hell. Or be dead.

crazy?.....well then you are living in a dream land. Ignorance is dangerous lately. Wake up if you think there will be any sort of "recovery".

Most people are day dreaming and keep telling me I am a pessimist. They don't even bother to TRY and explain how things will get magically better. They have no idea.

so we are forced to watch a train hit us slowly. Even my close family, my neighbors, customers, live in fantasy land that "it will get better"

I ask them to please pick up a news paper or talk to people who know, or to just spend an hour reading whatever source they want online.

They don't, yet scream at you for bursting their little bubble.

If you ask me, maybe this needed to happen. We are fools by and large. This is what happens when you are not a worthy people. You can be good great and awesome, but still unworthy.

The world population is that IMO. EDIT: I guess I can include myself.

go and look at some data on house prices from 1600 onwards till 2001 average increase on price in 400 yrs then BOOM it sky rockets & all the idiots that own a house think they are rich . House prices in my area went from 35,000 to 110,000 for the same property in a year or so .but wages stayed the same i have been on the same wage for 12 plus years the only ones to gain were the bankers on this an IDIOT COULD HAVE SEEN THIS going down .when the crash of 2008 happened i hoped that property values would go back but no such luck too many greedy people on the planet . a house is for living in ? i know people who own 200 propertys how crazy is that but as a painter it was good for me

Yep, you're right. it happened here in Australia too. I remeber my parents getting a quote from a Real Estate agent which was quoted at approx. $200,000 for the house and land. A few months later, the housing boom came and the same house and land was then valued to be over approx.$400,000. Yet my wage or my parents wage only increased approx. 3-4% each year. My parents weren't $200,000 better off for the new house and land value, because if they wanted to sell up and buy something similar the new price was also now at approx.$400,000. Yet if I wanted to take out a loan for a house and land that was valued at $200,000 before the housing boom, then i would now be paying an extra $200,000 onto my loan [plus interest] for taking out the same loan after the housing boom, yet my pay only increase's 3-4 per year IF i'm lucky.
So the new house and land loan takes twice as long to pay off, twice as much to pay off, with only a slight 3-4% wage increase to cover the double payments.
I will admit that a lot of people try to live outside their mean's and put themselves heavily in debt just because they have an obsession of 'keeping up with the Jones's', and i make no excuses for those people.
A house and land valued at $400,000 before the housing boom, was usually a very nice house in a fairly 'well-to-do' suburb, but now after the housing boom, $400,000 is pretty much the average price for an average sized home and land package in Australia. Yet that boom happened almost overnight............WHY ???

I believe in ETs visiting earth, but I have no reason to think they care, one bit, about the financial problems that exist in our world. If they care at all, it is probably about our spiritual selves.

Duh. They want to replace the whole money system. They need to render the old money system useless first.

Yes yes and yes...this cannot be more true...if you look back through history (and you do not have to go very far back) you will see this has been done over and over by the top money horders to ensure that their old money will translate to wealth no matter what new form it takes.

All that really happens is the old money is used as toilet paper, and the wealth as we call it is transferred into something more tangible until a new currency rises to offset the need for actual possesion wealth.

The idea that TPTB - who make TRILLIONS off the current system - would allow said system to crash is ludicrous. Yes, they'd certainly be MUCH better off with all their useless $, holed up in a house in the country eating cabbage. *eye roll* Come on...

I've heard this song and dance a million times. I can't count the number of posts claiming that Person X (usually an Alex Jones flunky) states that collapse is going to happen around X date. Guess what? Never happens.

Yes, the economies of the world are suffering. Yes, they'll continue to suffer for some time.

But total collapse? It's a survival porn fantasy circulated by paranoids.

Ok Doomsday-ers...The message is getting SO OLD now...Every year a new "theory", a stretch to invoke fear and chaos. Just go to work, save some cash, enjoy your kids and settle effing down. Build your life up instead of waiting for it to be torn down by some fairytale vision of roaming the streets with a shotgun foraging for the last scraps of food on Earth...Good God. THAT really sounds fun to you? The truth is, anyone who sits around waiting for "the end" Needs to go to a designated "The End Island" and you can all procrastinate, theorize and wish for misery together while the rest of commit ourselves to building up our nation and its future.

Check back, the cults, the predictions, the false alarms...It hasn't gotten old to you yet, but it will.

In the meantime, get yourself cleaned up, learn the art of social interaction and contribute to a positive, healthy world.
