There are three things I'd like to address. (And I really hope somebody looks back in this thread tomorrow. I don't want to be the "last word"
guy. It's just that my sleep cycle is on about a 120 degree phase variance from my fellow Americians.)
First, nobody"s given much mention to the music. The title is "Third and Seventh" because the music is focused on the third and seventh tones and
chords of whatever key that is (I'm a musician, I don't have perfect pitch). The point is that your reaction to the overall artwork is probably
more dependant than you realize on your reaction to such unconventional chord sequences. Some people (me!) eat that stuff up. Other are really left
wanting from the lack of "normal" progressive resolution.
Second, all this concern over our newfound ability to doctor photographs. That's what we used to call it. I've seen perfectly convincing 19th
century daguerrotypes of maidens with fairies perched on their fingers. Whenever we come up with a new form of documentation, we come up with a way
to use it to lie the next day. (Porn takes about a week
)
Third, GhostFreak, your avatar is driving me nuts. I finally remembered the series it came from, but I can't remember the NAME! I do remember that
it was better than Firefly and gets less press.
