What happens to those who DON'T place?

So the Olympic people are making millions of dollars on ads and tv time.. and, really, who besides the Gold and maybe silver/bronze people are making any money from this?

Everyone else, who spent years and years training is going home with little money to show from the Olympics.


It is kind of like (USA) college football.. these guys are making millions but not getting any of it.. and please don't say "they get free rides" uhh if they got paid for what they earn they wouldn't even need a "free ride"
