Romney’s spokesman, Ryan Williams, in an interview Saturday could point to no place in Obama’s lawsuit that seeks to restrict the rights of military voters…
Romney’s legal counsel, Katie Biber, said creating two separate classes of Ohio voters does not violate the 14th Amendment, though she also did not offer evidence that Obama’s lawsuit would make it tougher for members of the military to vote…
Plaintiffs bring this lawsuit to restore in-person early voting for all Ohioans during the three days prior to Election Day – a right exercised by an estimated 93,000 Ohioans in the last presidential election. Ohio election law, as currently enacted by the State of Ohio and administered by Defendant Ohio Secretary of State, arbitrarily eliminates early voting during the three days prior to Election Day for most Ohio voters, a right previously available to all Ohio voters.
Even Fox News acknowledges the purpose of the suit, noting “the lawsuit does not restrict the ability of military personnel to cast their ballots early.”

The Obama lawsuit is attempting to restore voting rights for all Ohioans, not restrict them for the military or any other group.
Even Fox News acknowledges the purpose of the suit, noting “the lawsuit does not restrict the ability of military personnel to cast their ballots early.”
The claim "Obama Campaign Sues to Restrict Military Voting" is another bogus fabrication by Brietbart.com and wingnuts on the far right.
However, the National Guard Association and other military groups have fired back, saying it's "offensive" for Democrats to suggest in the lawsuit it's arbitrary for service members to get special consideration.
"I'm just outraged by this," Mike DeWine, the Republican state attorney general in Ohio, told Fox News. "I can't believe the Obama campaign and the state Democratic Party are actually saying there's no rational basis for a distinction between someone who is in the military voting and someone who is not in the military."
When Democrats tried to block some military ballots in Florida during the contentious recount of 2000, it was a political and public relations disaster -- until then-Vice Presidential nominee Joe Lieberman intervened.
They are attempting to make them equal, which means give early voting to everyone, OR remove it from the military. If Ohio doesn't want to do it for everyone the Obama White House wants them to remove it from the military. Very plain as day.

They can be outraged all they like. The truth has that effect, because it is an arbitrary decision. The entire thing would be nonexistent had this been a new law altogether. The entire basis of this lawsuit is and always has been Ohio voters everyone of them had access to these days for early voting. It was then arbitrarily decided that now only the military gets these days to vote early on the heaviest early voting days. This is the Republican Party can't win on policy so is now doing everything it can to win by messing with election law.
